How To Take Action After the Women's March

26.1.17

I'm sure you've had your instagram feed flooded with pictures of the Women's March on London, and on Washington, and on all 7 continents. I am so proud of the 5 million people worldwide who participated and I feel very emotional thinking about what an amazing experience it was. It was like nothing I've ever felt before: seeing tens of thousands of people marching in solidarity. By remaining loving and strong we will overcome - nasty women are a force to be reckoned with! We all showed Trump who's boss, and that bigoted white men have no right to take away a woman's freedom regarding her own body, something they will never relate to. We showed them that women deserve reproductive rights, that we deserve equal treatment. We showed them that we will not give into the words of hatred that are being spoken. The majority stood up for the minority, and that is a truly incredible thing.

Cruelty Free Make-up Wishlist

I have majorly fallen out of love with makeup. UNTIL RECENTLY! Honestly, it's scaring me - all of a sudden I'm lusting over so many beautiful products, and I finally understand the hype. I've been doing my eyebrows and applying powder, only, for about a year. Now that I only use cruelty free and vegan beauty products, I initially thought it'd be hard to shop for new makeup. It's basically only Benefit and Mac, in terms of high end makeup, that test on animals. Don't take my word, of course loads of brands still, sadly, use animal testing.

The Importance of Second Hand Shopping

6.1.17

It was an ordinary day: Edie received two packages in the post (braces and a t-shirt), and decided to use them in an outfit post. She managed to, somehow, squeeze into her jeans she'd lived in since April, and walked downstairs with her camera. Her mum asked where her new top was from - Depop. Then, she realised EVERYTHING she was wearing was second hand... via depop. And the post ideas came flooding in.
